Method 1:
If you don't need to run the web app directly on Windows 10, you can also use a virtual machine (e.g. Older version of Windows running in Hyper-V or VMWare) to run on IIS7. Hopefully, you can reach out to the vendor soon to update their application to run on IIS7 or higher. Here are the steps how to install IIS in Windows 10 1. Open Run box by pressing the combination of Windows + R key. Type appwiz.cpl in the Run box and then click OK or press enter.
Try to run the Windows update troubleshooter and see if the issue is resolved:
